Denton County Property Tax: Due Dates & How to Pay (2026)

When property taxes are due for Flower Mound homeowners and where to handle your bill, from official Denton County sources. Updated July 2026.

Property taxes are due on receipt of the statement and are delinquent if not paid on or before January 31 of the year following the tax year. From February 1, penalty (up to a 12% maximum) and interest that grows 1% per month begin to accrue; the Denton County Tax Assessor-Collector collects.
