A survivor of the 9/11 attacks is sharing his story to promote unity. Sujo John and his wife worked in the World Trade Center and lived through the tragedy. He is encouraging Americans to remember the unity that followed the attacks. John grew up in India before moving to America, and later relocated to be closer to his work.
John has experienced tension and suspicion while traveling after the attacks. On one flight, a man became hostile towards him, but the situation was diffused when John shared his Bible and the two ended up having lunch together.
