A community's annual road race is approaching, featuring 5K and 10K events. The races will start and end at an elementary school and take participants through shady trails. Registration is open until Friday at 6 p.m. and will also be available on the day of the event for an additional fee.
The event will offer cash prizes for top finishers, including overall male and female winners and masters division winners. Last year's overall winner completed the race in 16 minutes.
