Veterans in the area may be recognized for their service. A commendation is available to those who have served honorably. To qualify, they must live in the 26th District of Texas.

The recognition ceremony will take place in November, hosted by the Highland Village Business Association. Veterans who are selected may also have the opportunity to share their stories.
